Mission

This Site is dedicated to the General Public, in particular to persons afflicted with the conditions described in these pages. The key goal of brain-aneurysm.com is to be a valuable educational resource for aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation (AVM) patients and their families. I strongly believe that understanding the biology and clinical aspects of brain aneurysms and AVMs is a fundamental part of the overall healing process. This site is also intended to be an in-depth educational resource for professionals interested in brain aneurysms and AVMs, and brain vessel (cerebrovascular) biology.

One of my objectives is to make www.brain-aneurysm.com the best and most informative cerebrovascular (brain blood vessel) site on the Web. To this effect, you will find detailed information on and images of brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVM), cavernous malformations (cavernomas), venous angiomas, and carotid artery disease, and more.

The construction of this Website, which began in 2000, stems from my deep interest in disorders of brain vessels, personally, clinically, and scientifically. While I have made every attempt to convey information relating to this condition in a meaningful, comprehensive and visitor-friendly manner, your feedback regarding how this Site may be improved will always be welcome.

Finally, I do realize that many of the persons who visit brain-aneurysm.com continue to suffer from the devastating effects of brain hemorrhage. In this regard, I and many of my colleagues continue to devote our professional lives to the pursuit and eventual eradication of cerebrovascular disease. While great strides have been made in the investigation and treatment of brain aneurysms and AVMs, there is still much to do.

Sincerely, and with my best regards,

Vini G. Khurana
